A beautiful two-weeks cruise to discover the Cyclades archipelago. To the East are the Little Cycladessmall islands, from the simple life joins incredible natural white beaches, rocky ravines alternated to small coves in a sea of green turquoise waters. To the West there is the group of Milos islands, a separate world of colors, quarries, caves, rocks and white water of incredible colors. The islands are refined style and have stunning scenery, mountains, villages, beaches where it is a pleasure to get lost. The passages between the larger islands are ideal for fishing!!
Welcome on board Penne Bianche! Boarding will be around 18.00 at Paroikià bay in Paros where your amazing sailing holiday starts. It’s suitable for everyone, families with children, singles and sailing enthusiastic. A welcome cocktail will be offered and you will get to know your crew that will show you the boat. Provisions will be already stored on board so you will be able to enjoy total relax. The luggage will be placed in the cabin before going ashore for dinner.
After a rich breakfast, once boarded the last minute provisions, the cruise starts toward the Little Cyclades. These beautiful small islands are considered a perfect refuge for anyone who’s looking for some peace and tranquility. At Iraklia (about 24 miles away) we’ll anchor in the bay and…. ready to enjoy… a swim sometimes together with the turles!! For those who enjoy foot-trips there is a nice walk to visit the little Chora (walking distance 4 km.) or the village nearby the port. After you’ll live a real gourmet experience with the cuisine of this sailing cruise.
Don’t be lazy… a swim before breakfast is really suggested. Departure after breakfast toward Koufonisia (about 12 miles). Charter a sailing boat with skipper! So you can discover incredible coves hidden in rocky ravines, white sand with crystal clear waters. We’ll anchor at Pori, one of the most spectacular bay of all the Aegean Sea. We’ll spend the afternoon swimming and visiting the rocky bay ashore to discover hidden caves that will be shown you from the professional crew.
Weather permitting, we’ll sail toward Donousa (13 miles north-east), another island of the Little Cyclades, known for its beaches and quiet moorings. The village is small and welcoming, it’s not unusual to be the only boat anchored there, although the water is incredibly clear and the place is perfect for a swim and for some relax. One of the most intriguing aspects of this dream sailing cruise is the cuisine. Tonight for dinner we’ll have prawns with “tagliatelle”.
After a swim at dawn we’ll have a rich breakfast on board with fresh cake and then sail to Amorgos, a must-see for sailing boat holiday. Lunch on board, not far from a little church nearby the water. Short sail to reach the mooring at Katapola. No-one should miss a tour of the island, especially a visit to the famous monastery of the Panaghia Chozoviotissa, completely built into the living rock, and the Chora, that rises all around a Venetian castle, with lime painted houses, little churches and a museum. Also the northern part of the island, the picturesque Egiali, can be reached by feet, for a walk through its three snow white villages and its sandy beaches. On September and October 2016, when the sun isn’t so hot, the island offers the chance for many walking tours along paths with wonderful panoramic views.

We sail toward Ios (20 miles). We anchor in the bay or moor at the small port. You’ll spend the day visiting the typical Chora, with its white painted houses, lanes, churches and its well known sandy beaches and for the night owls… a very exciting nightlife. Dinner in the cockpit prepared by your skipper with fish specilaities.
Penne Bianche is an elegant, fast but very stable boat and she can offer the maximum comfort to the sailing boat holiday lovers. Today she takes you to the striking Folegandros (25 miles). Here we can visit the picturesque and romantic Chora, built on a sheer cliff, with paths, little walls, gardens, wooden balconies and typical churches.
Sail at dawn to reach the extraordinary stacks of Kleftiko (25 miles), stopping for a swim and to take photos. Anchoring in a protected bay depending of the weather condition.
As soon as we are awake a swim is really suggested before breakfast prepared by the crew end served in the cockpit. We’ll moor in Milos in the big bay of Adamas, its port is considered the most safe one among the Greek Islands of the Aegean Sea, obligatory stop during the sailing boat holiday.
Departure after breakfast to the uninhabited island of Polyagos (ca. 15 mg) with a stop for a swim and lunch in a cove truly breathtaking. Depending on the weather anchor for the night on the same island or at the nearby Kimolos.
Penne Bianche crew offers an accurate service to its pampered guests. The sailing cruise starts toward Sifnos (10 miles), where we’ll arrive in the afternoon. We moor in the round bay of Vathy. There, we can swim and go for a tour to the Chora Apollonia, which can be reached by bus. It’s built on three hills and really facinating. It’s a typical Cycladic kind of architecture with white painted houses and narrow lanes. Kastro, the old main town, still based on a medieval plan, is not far away. A nice aperif can’t be missing on board Penne Bianche where the cuisine is one of the most intriguing aspects of this dream cruise.
We sail towards Antiparos, (ca. 18 mg), very protected anchorage in crystal clear waters. The afternoon is dedicated swimming or hiking to the famous cave located inland, more than 100 meters deep.
Sail back toward the island of Paros. Stop for a break at the three little islands of Pantieronis between Paros and Antiparos with crystal clear waters and white sandy beaches. For lunch you will be able to taste Brunella’s “pasta alla carbonara”!! In the afternoon sail back to Paroikia and dinner ashore.
